Welcome to Cashin!

Greetings from your Residence Director:

I want to take a moment to welcome you to Cashin Hall! My name is Sarah Judy and I am the Residence Director (RD) in Cashin Hall. My role as the RD is to be a resource to you throughout the year. I am here to help you with anything from finding a group on campus to get involved with, to helping you figure out the location of your classes! Stop by and introduce yourself; my office is located on the first floor, room 112, near the Cluster Office.
The times you spend in Cashin will be some of the most memorable experiences in your life, because some of the friendships you make will last forever. Please take advantage of UMass Amherst and all that it has to offer, especially the campus living experience. See you soon!

Greetings from your Assistant Residence Director:

Hello Cashin students! My name is Lizette Aguilar and I am the Assistant Residence Director (ARD) for Cashin. As the ARD, among other responsibilities, I assist in the management and operation of the cluster by supervising the Resident Assistants and Cluster Office Manager (COM), advising student leader groups, and much more! I am a Master’s student in the Bilingual/Multicultural/E.S.L. education program. Once you arrive on campus do not hesitate to stop by my office, located on the first floor, with the RD’s office in room 112, and say hi! I look forward to meeting you!

Should you have any Housing or Residence Life-related questions before you arrive on campus, please feel free to contact our Housing Assignments Office at 413.545.2100. They can answer all of your questions, or direct you to who can answer your questions! The Housing Assignments Office is located in the Whitmore Administration Building, room 235.

• Each suite contains a combination of single and double rooms, with a common bathroom and living room

The Sylvan Cultural Center and Area Government office is also located in Cashin Hall.
