Welcome to Webster/Dickinson!

Greetings from your Residence Director:

Welcome to the Residential First Year Experience (RFYE) in Webster/Dickinson cluster. My name is Michael Dodge and I am the Residence Director (RD) for Webster/Dickinson! I cannot wait for you to get here because one of my favorite parts of my job is getting to know all of you who will be living in our cluster for the 2009-2010 academic year. Together, we will make your first year a great one!!

To help support you during your time in Webster/Dickinson (also known as Web/Dic), our cluster has a dedicated staff that is here to help with all of your personal and academic needs. Our very talented Residence Life staff consists of 2 Assistant Residence Directors (ARDs), 1 Cluster Office Manager (COM), 24 Resident Assistants (RAs), 1 Residential Learning Graduate (RLG) and 8 Peer Mentors (PMs). PMs are here to promote and support academic success in the residence halls through activities, study groups, and individual conversations. All of the staff are here to make sure you and the entire community are having a positive living experience. Make sure you get to know your RA and PM - they will both be valuable resources for you during your year in Web/Dic!

As the RD, I not only work here in Webster/Dickinson, but I live here as well. My apartment is in Webster and my office is in Dickinson, so once you come to campus stop by my office, located on the first floor of Dickinson, room 116, for a visit, to ask a question, or just to chat! I look forward to meeting all of you!

Greetings from your Assistant Residence Directors:

Hello! Our names are Heather McGrath and Shelvia English and we are your Assistant Residence Directors. We are graduate student staff members who will help you make the most of your living experience in Webster/Dickinson. We assist in the management and operation of the cluster by supervising the Resident Assistants (RAs) and Cluster Office Manager (COM), advising student leader groups, and much more! Once you arrive on campus do not hesitate to stop by our offices, located on the first floor of Dickinson, room 114 and say hi! We look forward to meeting you!
