Welcome to Grayson/Field!
Greetings from your Residence Director:
Welcome! My name is Noga Flory. I am returning for my eleventh year as the Residence Director for the Grayson/Field cluster. The Residence Director is a Master's level, full time professional staff member with live-in responsibilities that include the comprehensive management of the residential program. My duties include, but are not limited to, facilitation of training and development opportunities on a cluster and area-wide level, coordination of in-hall housing assignments and changes, promotion of diversity-sensitive programming, supervision of graduate and undergraduate staff, management of facilities systems, implementation of student disciplinary procedures, and advising of various student leader groups.
My background is in Psychology (BA) and Public Health (MPH). This fall, I will be continuing my coursework towards a second Master's degree in School and Adjustment Counseling. I strive to help students transition to the UMass Amherst community by encouraging connections outside the traditional classroom. Please stop by my office in 103A Grayson and say hello. I look forward to meeting you this fall!
