Welcome to Grayson/Field!
Greetings from your Residence Director:
Welcome!
My name is Noga Flory and I am returning for my ninth year as the
Residence Director (RD) for the Grayson/Field cluster.
The RD is a Master’s level, full-time professional staff
member with live-in responsibilities that include the comprehensive
management of the residential program. My duties include, but
are not limited to, facilitation of training and development
opportunities on both the cluster-level and also area-wide, coordination
of in-hall housing assignments and changes, promotion of diversity-sensitive
programming, supervision of graduate and undergraduate staff,
management of facilities systems, implementation of student disciplinary
procedures, and advising of various student leader groups. My
background is in Psychology and Public Health. This fall, I will
be continuing my coursework towards dual Certificates of Advanced
Graduate Studies (CAGS) in School and Adjustment Counseling.
I strive to help students transition to the UMass Amherst community
by encouraging connections outside the traditional classroom.
Once you arrive on campus, please feel free to stop by my office,
located in Grayson, room 103A. I look forward to meeting you
this fall!
