Central Area

Brett Hall Gorman Hall Close to mid-campus lies the Central Residential Area which is made up of nine traditionally-styled buildings.

All Central residence halls are coed. In addition, Van Meter Hall has two female-only floors; Brett and Brooks Halls are barrier-free and fully accessible for disabled students.

Central offers several Living and Learning Communities including:

First Year Hall Themes

  • Culture & The Arts (Van Meter)
  • Writing & Literature (Butterfield)
  • Special Housing Options

    • 9-month Housing (Sept-May) located in Brett Hall
    • Alcohol Free Residence located in Brooks Hall
    • 24 Hour Quiet Floors located in Baker Hall & Brooks Hall

    Other Area Features

    The Central Area offers a variety of activities and services to the residents including:
