I work closely with a the Assistant Residence Director (ARD), Resident Assistants (RAs), and the Cluster Office Manager (COM) and staff to provide an environment that is safe, inclusive, respectful, and engaging. Greetings from your Assistant
Residence Director:
Welcome to the Gorman/Wheeler Cluster! My name is Katie Dambach and I have been the ARD for Gorman/Wheeler for 2.5 years. There are several opportunities to get involved with this exciting cluster including:
- Being a Community Leader or member of House Council
- Working in the cluster office or as a mail sorter
- Planning social justice programs as a member of the Nuance Advisory Board
- Participating in great events such as an academic incentive program where you earn cluster bucks and can redeem them for prizes
As part of the Nuance Multicultural Living Learning Community, we offer all Gorman residents with a unique opportunity to take a 2 credit class, EDUC 393B Toltec "Experiencing Social Justice in Community" focuses on having dialogues on diversity issues and going to New York City for an overnight class excursion.
If you are interested in any of these opportunities, please don't hesitate to contact me. My office is located in 101 Gorman. We hope to see you at the many great programs that we will be having this year. Don't be a stranger.
