Welcome to Baker/Chadbourne/Greenough!
Greetings from your Residence Director:
Welcome
to Baker/Chadbourne/Greenough (BCG)! BCG is a beautiful and remarkable
place with stunning greenery, celebrated Living
Learning Communities, the Josephine White Eagle Cultural Center,
and the always delicious Greenough Sub Shop. There are many opportunities
to get involved in the cluster and show your pride. We hope that
you will consider attending events, volunteering with the cultural
center, joining groups such as House Council or the Community
Leaders, or working with the staff to create awareness around
issues that are important to you. Whether you are new to the
cluster or returning, there is something for everyone, and we
are glad you have chosen to make BCG your home away from home!
My
name is Colby Fisher and I am the Residence Director (RD) for BCG.
My background is in Psychology, Women’s Studies, and
School Counseling. I work closely with a wonderful team of Assistant
Residence Directors (ARDs), Resident Assistants (RAs), and the
Cluster Office Manager (COM), and Cluster Office Staff to provide
an environment that is safe, inclusive, respectful, and engaging.
The staff is here to assist you with day to day concerns, share
campus resources, offer support, and maintain policies that allow
you and your hallmates to have a positive residential experience.
Once you arrive on campus, please feel free to stop by my office,
located on the first floor of Baker, room 119. I am happy to answer
any questions you may have and I look forward to meeting you!

Greetings
from your Assistant Residence Directors:
Hello! My name is Jessika
Murphy and I am one of the two Assistant Residence Directors
(ARDs) for BCG. I am excited to be returning
for my second year in the cluster. As a graduate student in
Social Justice Education, I am proud of the opportunities BCG offers
for students to explore different cultures and ways of thinking.
The
diversity within BCG, along with its many talented artists
and
musicians in residence, makes the cluster a great place to
live!
Hello! My name is Michael Dodge and I am the
other Assistant Residence Director (ARD) for BCG. I will be working
on my doctoral
degree
in Educational Policy and Leadership (Higher Education) and
am excited to join the UMass Amherst family. Before coming
to UMass
Amherst, I worked at Allegheny College and Indiana University
of Pennsylvania. My passion for working in Residence Life
comes from
my own experiences as an undergraduate student leader. I
love Residence Life because every day provides new and exciting
opportunities and challenges to help students grow and develop.
In my personal
life, I like spending time with friends and family, cooking,
reading,
and traveling.
Together, we strive to help you make the most
of your living experience in BCG. We assist in the management
and operation
of the cluster
by supervising student staff, advising student leader groups,
and much more! Once you arrive on campus do not hesitate
to stop by
our office, located on the first floor of Baker, room 110A,
and say hi! We look forward to meeting you!
