North Apartment Occupancy Period
Students can live in the apartments for a nine-month period. The apartments will open the Sunday prior to the first day of classes in September and close the last day of finals for Spring semester. Students will have the advantage of staying in the apartments during Thanksgiving, Wintersession, and Spring Breaks.
North Apartment Application and Assignment Process
Undergraduate students living in university residence halls and on a university sponsored exchange/internship will have the first opportunity to submit applications for university apartments. All students are eligible for placement in apartments. Students seeking placement in the North Residential Area Apartments will not have to submit to the leasing process that off-campus landlords require.
Co-Ed Option for North Undergraduate Apartments
Students will be able to form co-ed groups and apply for an apartment. There will be an additional application process to confirm students' willingness to live in a co-ed apartment. The Student Services Office reserves the right to consolidate students into single sex apartments if an original occupant departs/cancels their assignment.
North Apartment Rental Rate and Payment Schedule
The rate for the North Apartments is listed on the Rates & Fees page and will be billed through the Bursars' Office. Students who have an assignment in the apartment complex will be subject to the same cancellation fee schedule as students living in the residence halls.
North Apartment Cooking and Dining
The Worcester Market offers products comparable to other local grocery stores including deli and bakery items, fresh produce and household products. Students living in apartment style residence halls can choose from any of Dining Services' meal plans. However, they are not required to be on a meal plan.
