Student Leadership Development
Education 393A
The Student Leadership Development course
is a one credit, nine-week class designed to enable student leaders
to begin developing their leadership skills. The topics covered
will allow students to: gain skill development on a range of topics;
build community connections; explore literature related to leadership
theory; increase self awareness and awareness of others as members
of social groups; and strengthen residential student leadership
programs.
The class is open to any student that
may be interested in leadership. Students can register for Educ
393A through SPIRE.
Please note
that section 1 is specifically for first year students, however,
first year students can register for any section.
In Fall 2007
the course will begin meeting the week of September 16 and will
have the last meeting the week of December 26.
