Graduate Resident Assistant

Graduate Resident Assistant Job Description and Application
Graduate Resident Assistant Recruitment Poster

Graduate Resident Assistant is one of the most important student leadership positions available at the University of Massachusetts Amherst.  Graduate Resident Assistants are community leaders, educators, counselors, friends, change agents, advisors, policy enforcers, and team players.
As a Graduate RA you will play a critical role in shaping a floor/building community and will involve students in a community of both graduate and undergraduate students including researchers, exchange students, and visiting professors.  Residents may represent diverse countries and nationalities, and with an average age of thirty (30), most are returning for graduate study having spent time in the professional world.  The demands on Graduate RAs are complex, but the material and nonmaterial benefits are extremely rewarding.  The Graduate Resident Assistant position is the toughest job you’ll ever love.
