Welcome to
the Apartment Living Advisor Selection Process!
By completing an application, you are expressing your interest in one of the
newest and most important student leadership positions available at the University
of Massachusetts Amherst. Apartment Living Advisors (ALA) are community leaders,
educators, counselors, friends, change agents, advisors, policy enforcers,
and team players. If hired and placed as an ALA you will play a critical role
in shaping the new apartment community for the student residents there. The
demands on ALAs are complex, but the material and nonmaterial benefits are
extremely rewarding. The ALA position is one of the toughest positions you’ll
ever love.
Applications for 2010-2011 will be available Nov 9th.
Deadline for submission will be Dec 1, 2009.
Training Dates
New Apartment Living Advisors return to campus Tuesday, August 25, 2009. Returning ALAs arrive Saturday, August 29. Check into the Cluster Office between 6:00 and 8:00pm.
