Housing and Residence Life at the University of Massachusetts Amherst is one of the largest on campus housing systems in the United States. Over 12,000 students live in 45 residence halls, while families, staff, and graduate students live in 345 units in two apartment complexes.

Housing and Residence Life provides a variety of hall services, educational programs and activities. Students and families are encouraged to use our site to gather information about residence hall assignment processes, to report maintenance requests using our i-Service link, and to learn more about our residential programs and facilities.
